On March 22nd, the US Libya External Office (LEO) and the CEO of the Libya Local Investment & Development Fund (LLIDF), Bader Ben-Othman co-hosted and co-organized the first Commercial Diplomacy event bringing together the US government, US private sector businesses and Libyan entities since 2014. USLBA Executive Director Jason Pack participated in the event and gave a powerpoint lecture about the current state of the Libyan Economy. He and Mr. Ben Othman both shared their views on the benefits for US companies of working with LLIDF to benefit from its ability to forge partnerships and investment vehicles to achieve infrastructure and development projects.
