On March 10th, 2022 USLBA hosted a meeting with Libya’s Central Bank Governor Saddek Omar ElKaber and his accompanying delegation in Washington, D.C The Governor provided updates on the unification process of the Central Bank, and his efforts to protect and stabilize the Central Bank in times of political instability.
Participants expressed a desire to see more American companies enter the Libyan market in vital sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure development, and oil and gas. USLBA is glad to have had the opportunity to meet with Governor ElKaber, and we look forward to continuing a dialogue with Libya’s Central Bank.
