Libyan rivals clash in neglected south

The political and armed conflicts gripping Libya have principally occurred in the country's northern coastal region, but analysts now say recent clashes in the country's neglected southern desert may open a new theatre. The LNA launched an attack near Sebha on the Tamenhat airbase, which is controlled by the GNA-aligned Misratan Third Force militia.
