USLBA Hosts Successful Engagement with Libyan Prime Minister

On September 23, the U.S.-Libya Business Association hosted a dinner in honor of his H.E. the Prime Minister of Libya, Fayez al-Sarraj in New York City. The dialog focused on the current and future relationship between the U.S. private sector and Libya’s government and institutions. Ten US-based companies participated and were joined by representatives from several other notable organizations engaged in political and economic development in Libya. The Libyan delegation -- including H.E. Foreign Minister Mohammed Taher al-Siyala, Senior Political Advisor to the PM Taher al-Sonni, chargée d’affaires at the Libyan embassy in Washington, D.C. Ambassador Wafa Bugaighis -- engaged at length with the attending US companies on the current state of play and future business possibilities in their country. The U.S.-Libya Business Association is proud to enhance the connection between our two countries and will continue creating opportunities to foster better understanding and partnerships.
